I’ll jump a bit … my 7th chemotherapy
got over on Saturday (September 12, 2015). The next day I did not have my usual
post chemo weakness. Thanks to my spiritual guru Sonu Aunty who had given me
Access Bar healing a few weeks ago and her affirmations that my healing is
happening so beautifully.
So, on Sunday, I decided to attend a small
seminar on Cancer Care diet. It was held
by the NGO Council for Cancer Care at the D.S Research Centre at Andheri East.
D.S Research is into cancer treatment based on ancient Ayurveda. While Council
for Cancer Care is into various activities to empower cancer patients with
knowledge, support, funds & the right mindset and early detection of the
mammoth called Cancer.
The topic of discussion was ‘Nutrition
Management on Cancer’. Interest in spreading the importance on Nutrition on
Cancer has grown stronger over the years due to lack of information. There are
lots of myths and misconceptions about what to eat/avoid during cancer. The aim
of the presentation is to make patients that healthy eating is just as
important as multiple treatments that they go through.
The seminar was conducted by 2 senior
dieticians who specializes in cancer diet.
Vidhi
Maniar – Sr Dietician & Assistant Clinic in
Charge; Msc. Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics
Krushali
Rajani – Msc. Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics
The seminar was very helpful and I got some
valuable tips. I have uploaded the presentation for your reference. Hope it
helps you or your friend/family who is going through this journey like me.
Before following the diet please consult
with your doctor. Please do not proceed without your doctor’s consent.
